The adaptation of institutions to changes in their work environments is a primary concern for many researchers. It is also a pathway that ensures the survival and continuity of the institution’s activities within a permanently changing environment.
This study aims to describe how Algerian institutions adapted to their environment during the pandemic by linking this adaptation to the concept of strategic agility, in line with numerous prior studies.
To this end, a field study was conducted on a sample of 40 Algerian institutions with diverse activities, sizes and geographical locations. The data were processed using SPSS version 26 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).
The results showed that the institutions under study adapted to their environment to varying degrees.
