Abstract

The Object of the study aims to extract the most important physical abilities associated with the selection process for volleyball players through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and to identify the factor structure that explains individual differences in performance levels among players, To determine the basic structure of the factors, including the variables before and after factor rotation, and their impact on the practical and methodological applications of volleyball selection processes. for this purpose, we used the descriptive method On a sample composed of (70) volleyball players selected by a simple random method, and for data collection, we used A set of Physical Abilities tests After collecting the results and having treated them statistically, The study concluded that are three main factors (strength, speed, and agility) based on eigenvalues and the magnitude of variable loadings on their respective factors. These factors represent essential components in the selection process in volleyball and have a direct impact on the skill performance of volleyball players.
