Abstract

This study compares mobile payment adoption in Asia (China, India) and Africa (Kenya, Nigeria). Data from 5,000 users shows higher penetration in Asia due to robust fintech ecosystems, while Africa demonstrates rapid adoption in rural areas due to necessity and agent networks. Key challenges include cybersecurity and regulatory compliance. Insights highlight region-specific strategies to scale digital financial services.
