Abstract

This study evaluates the employment effects of renewable energy investments in 15 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Using panel regression analysis, the research shows that investments in solar, wind, and bioenergy sectors generate significant direct and indirect job opportunities, particularly in manufacturing, installation, and maintenance. The results also highlight that supportive government policies, subsidies, and training programs amplify the positive employment impact. The study provides insights for policymakers aiming to simultaneously promote environmental sustainability and job creation.
