This study examines the adoption of e-commerce across developed economies (USA, Germany) and emerging economies (India, Kenya). Using surveys of 500 businesses and secondary data on digital infrastructure, logistics, and consumer behavior, the research highlights key differences in adoption drivers and barriers. Developed economies focus on AI-driven personalization, seamless payment systems, and advanced logistics networks, leading to high efficiency and customer satisfaction. Emerging economies prioritize mobile accessibility, cost-effective solutions, and innovative payment methods due to infrastructure constraints. Regulatory environments, cybersecurity concerns, and digital literacy levels further influence adoption patterns. The study provides actionable insights for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and managers to tailor e-commerce strategies according to economic contexts, emphasizing infrastructure development, financial inclusion, and customer education.
