Blockchain Technology and Transparency in Supply Chain Management

Abstract

This study explores the role of blockchain technology in enhancing transparency, traceability, and trust in global supply chains. Data were collected from 120 multinational firms across Europe, Asia, and North America. The results show that blockchain implementation reduces information asymmetry, improves supplier collaboration, and enhances compliance with regulatory standards. Challenges related to scalability and cost are discussed, along with recommendations for gradual adoption strategies.
